Joleen Rae Blankey 74, of Louisville, Kansas, died Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Stormont Vail Health Center in Topeka. She was a life-long resident of the area.
Joleen was born on October 1, 1945, in Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Martha Ringel Havenstein. She attended local schools and graduated in 1964 from Alma High School.
William Edward "Bill" Butler, age 67, of Manhattan, died January 23, 2018, at his residence. He was born August 12, 1950, in Leaksville, North Carolina, the son of Herman Joseph and Goldie Vail (Scott) Butler.
Nick A. Lewis-Finke, age 21, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018, in rural Meade County, Kansas, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born January 29, 1997, at Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Kelly Finke and Sarah Lewis. As a young boy he attended Meade schools, graduating from Meade High School in 2015. After his graduation, he was currently attending Manhattan Technical School, Manhattan, majoring in pre-chiropractic studies.
Judy Anderson, age 64, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan, Kansas. Judy was born August 18, 1954 in Marysville, Kansas the daughter of William and Elsie Mae Livingston. Judy attended Manhattan High School. She graduated with the class of 1972
Mr. Trudo died Oct. 23, 2015. He was born May 4, 1946, in Edinburg to Frank and Ruth (Ross) Trudo. He graduated from La Salle High School in 1964 and St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 1968 as a distinguished military graduate with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics.
Janet Eileen McDougal, 44, of Wamego, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born March 22, 1974 at Onaga, the daughter of Gale and Nadine Chance McDougal. She attended Onaga Grade School and High School.
Vernon “Ray” Jackson, age 87, of Topeka, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
Ray was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 18, 1932, the son of Henry Clay Jackson and Lavonia Esther (Rogers). Ray was the youngest of three children. He attended Seaman High School and Highland Grade School.
